According to authorities, 26 year-old Lovelle Mixon shot motorcycle officers John Hege, 41, and Mark Dunakin, 40, when they pulled him over during a routine traffic stop. He then opened fire with an AK-47 on SWAT team sergeants Ervin Romas, 43, and Daniel Sakai, 35, when they tried to arrest him at his sister’s apartment two hours later. SWAT team officers returned fire and killed Mixon. Family members say he went on a shooting rampage because he didn’t want to go back to prison
